I am hearing reports every day of fish stacked up around and in tributaries and other cold water sources. This has made many of our biggest and best fish vulnerable to predators and stress damage. The damage to the fish population will quite possibly effect the fishing for many years in the future.
PFBC has prohibited fishing on Penn’s Creek in the area below Poe Paddy, Swift and Panther Runs, due to fish congregating there and potential damage to wild trout brood stock.
Please respect the fish at this time of high stress and encourage fellow angler not to disturb the fish.
