Little tans, size 18 plus several other tan/olive caddis are emerging between 10 am and 1:30pm the last two days. I hang a soft hackle under my dry, however, today they wanted the dry with 20 hook ups with beautiful plump j browns.

if you can get out I recommend it. I hit the “early” tan caddis that hatches in the morning the previous two years and the action was amazing. My dry fly fishing is so-so and I cleaned up, including some big fish. I wonder if the grannoms get them keyed in on caddis. Unfortunately I’m “on the bench” for the next 5 days.

Sulphurs coming off in the later afternoon and evening. More than I would have expected. Caddis seemed larger on Sat. than Friday evening.
