I’m headed to the river today…it’s 50 degrees, the flow is low and very clear and I expect to see midges or possibly winter stone flies. My broken knee is healing, but I’m still limited to casting from the bank (I know a few places)….I’ll write a report this evening.
Visit the LJRA Gallery, lot’s of cool pictures there, and if you want to contribute, just send them to me bjuniata@verizon.net

It will hit 52 degrees by 11 am today…our last chance to find risers before the deep freeze sets in….(0 degrees by Wed night). I’ll be looking at the long flats and maybe do a little “bank” casting…still nursing a torn knee tendon.

I took advantage of the warm weather. I only had 2 hrs to fish, so I hit Spring creek instead. No surface activity and fishing was steady underneath but slow. I should have gone to the J. problem is 2 hrs easily turns into 4 when I’m on the J!
